Betting tip and prediction: Aryna Sabalenka – Qinwen Zheng (13.10.2024)
This time of the year, both the ATP and the WTA tours are in Asia. It seems like the Asian tennis has never been better, and now Qinwen Zheng will have a chance to win the title in front of the home fans. That will not be easy at all, as she is going against Aryna Sabalenka. Zheng has never won more than five games in each of the three previous encounters against the Belarussian. That doesn’t sound promising at all, but wait until you hear that. Sabalenka has never lost a match in Wuhan in three appearances and has a 14-0 record there. Taking all this into consideration, it seems like Zheng has no chance in this match, but who could believe that she would win the gold at the Paris Olympics? The Chinese have the game and the mental stability to perform well when it matters the most. She couldn’t find the way to do that in her first career Grand Slam final at the beginning of the season, but with the support of the crowd, we believe that Zheng can make a sensation here. The given odds of 3,00 for her win is another reason to just go with it.
