Buffalo Bills – Tennessee Titans: Initial situation
Both teams are going to start rookie quarterbacks in this game. The Saints are forced to do that given the injury of their prime starter while the Broncos are trusting his young fella. These two have had many ups and downs so far in the season and this is one of the most difficult games to predict this week.
Buffalo Bills Stats & Form
The Buffalo Bills have probably the toughest schedule in the NFL, playing four of their first six games on the road. They just ended their three-game road stint with a 23-20 win over the New York Jets, ending a two-game losing streak. After two poor performances, the Bills quarterback Josh Allen was 19 of 25, threw two touchdown passes, and ran for another score. After two games going under 200 yards, Allen had 215 next to his name. Things did not start well for Tyler Bass, who missed a field goal attempt early in the game but was ready to deliver with less than four minutes to go by kicking a go-ahead 22-yard field goal. Now, the Bills are on top of the AFC East with a 4-2 record.
Tennessee Titans Stats & Form
The Tennessee Titans are one of the biggest disappointments this season in the NFL. They snapped a three-game losing streak with a win in Miami before taking a week off. When they got back on the field, they collapsed in the final quarter against the Indianapolis Colts, for a 20-17 loss. Early in the third quarter, the Titans went 17-10 up and just stopped. There were a couple of questionable calls as the Titans were flagged 11 times for 113 yards, both season highs. However, seeing Will Levis go 16 of 27 for only 95 yards raises the question of whether he is going to be benched for good and Mason Rudolph would take over the starting quarterback job.
Buffalo Bills – Tennessee Titans: Head to Head
The Buffalo Bills are on top of their division but they still have plenty of room to develop. That is also the case for the Tennessee Titans who have one of the best defenses in the league but are yet to take advantage of that on the offensive end. Can the Titans finally step up?

Betting tip and prediction: Buffalo Bills – Tennessee Titans (20.10.2024)
The Buffalo Bills are on top of the AFC East and made a big move this week to get even better. Trading for Amari Cooper from the Cleveland Browns may be the move that the Bills needed to go from a good team to a real contender. Cooper is coming off a career-high 1,250 yards last year for Cleveland, but he had a slow start to the 2024 season. In six games, Cooper has 24 receptions for 250 yards and two touchdowns. His per-catch average of 10.4 yards is on pace for a career low and seven yards under last year’s career-best average. However, this trade looks perfect for him, as he will get a chance to play with Josh Allen. Besides adding Cooper to the roster, the Bills will get James Cook and defensive tackle Ed Oliver back. Rookie Ray Davis stepped in for Cook with 152 total yards in last week’s 23-20 win over the New York Jets. Meanwhile, the Tennessee Titans are still struggling after they dropped a 17-10 lead in the last game against the Indianapolis Colts. Quarterback Will Levis has 10 turnovers already and has seven interceptions in the last five games. Another problem for the Titans is the fact that none of his completed passes went to veteran receiver Calvin Ridley, who let his frustrations out in a postgame interview that went viral. That definitely does not go in the Titans favor, who have to find a way to be more effective on the offense. On the other hand, Tennesse are ranked No. 1 in the league in total defense (248.8 yards per game) and against the pass (137.0). Will that work out against the bills? Probably not, since Josh Allen has so many options on the offense. The Bills will take control early in this game and will win by covering the -8.5-point spread.
