Chicago Bears – Jacksonville Jaguars: Initial situation
The Jacksonville Jaguars are the last team to get a victory this season in the NFL and the long-awaited breaker is finally here. That is what this team needed before taking the trip to Europe for a pair of games. The Chicago Bears are in a better situation and even though the odds are not saying that, Chicago has legit chance in this game.
Chicago Bears Stats & Form
The Chicago Bears have a solid start of the season with a 3-2 record, but that still puts them at the bottom of the NFC North as all four teams are coming off a win and have a winning record. All three of Bears’ wins came home at Soldier Field and they lost both of their road games so far in the season. Last week, the Bears won 36-10 against the Carolina Panthers. Going into that one, the Bears were the favorites and their performance showed that they are ready to fight for a playoff spot, something they have done in the past four seasons. The first overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft Caleb Williams, had the best game so far in the season. He threw for 304 yards and two touchdowns completing 20 of 29 passes with no interceptions and a 126.2 QB rating.
Jacksonville Jaguars Stats & Form
After nine consecutive starts without a win, Trevor Lawrence finally did it for the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags won 37-34 at home against the Indianapolis Colts which was their first win in since last December. Lawrence threw for 371 yards and two touchdowns on his 25th birthday and put Cam Little in a position to make a 49-yard field goal with 17 seconds left in the game that gave the Jaguars their first victory of the season. Tank Bigsby ran for 101 yards and two scores for Jacksonville who won their tenth straight home game against the Colts. That was a great performance for the Jags, but they are still at the bottom of the AFC South with a 1-4 record.
Chicago Bears – Jacksonville Jaguars: Head to Head
The Chicago Bears lead the all-time series against the Jacksonville Jaguars 5-3. Only two of those games were in the past decades. The Jaguars won 17-16 in 2016 and the Bears 41-17 in 2020. The Bears covered the spread in 3 of the last 4 head-to-head games.

Betting tip and prediction: Chicago Bears – Jacksonville Jaguars (13.10.2024)
NFL football is going back to Europe as the Chicago Bears and the Jacksonville Jaguars are all set to take on the field at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Both teams are coming off wins, which definitely boost their confidence before the Sunday afternoon match. This is especially the case with the Jaguars, who ended the four-game losing streak at the beginning of the season with their first win in almost a year. Trevor Lawrence can finally breathe easily, but the Jaguars cannot expect him to set a career-best passing night every game in order for them to win. Given the odds, the Jaguars are the favorites to win, but looking at their injury list makes us think twice. Wide receiver Gabe Davis, cornerbacks Tyson Campbell, safeties Darnell Savage and Daniel Thomas, and linebackers Devin Lloyd and Yasir Abdullah were limited at practice during the past week, and their appearance in London is doubtful. The Bears are going overseas after back-to-back wins, and Caleb Williams proved his worth as the No. 1 pick in last year’s draft. Williams and offseason acquisition D’Andre Swift have connected well, and the Bears can count on them on Sunday. However, the Bears also have injured players, mainly safety Jaquan Brisker, who didn’t travel with the team as he experiences concussion-like symptoms stemming from a collision in the previous game. Elijah Hicks will be the man to step in his place, which is a very good backup solution. Given all that, we go with the Bears to cover the +3.5-point spread.
