Juventus dominance in the Italian football is already forgotten and the team from Turin hopes that this is the season they can get back on top. Dusan Vlahovic was criticized by many but the Serbian has stepped up with five goals in Serie A and two more in the Champions League.

Betting tip and prediction: Juventus – Lazio (19.10.2024)
It’s been four years since Juventus won their last Scudetto, and the team from Turin hopes that this will be the season to get back on the throne. Thiago Motta took over the head coaching job at Juve after spending the last two seasons in Bologna, and it seems that it is the right move for the “Bianconerri.” Juventus is currently third in the standings despite having only three wins in seven games. Juventus showed two completely different faces in the last two games. They turned things around in the Champions League visit to Leipzig despite playing with 10 players, and then played only 1-1 at home against Cagliari, letting the game slip with a late penalty and a red card. That was definitely a game Juventus should have won, and now we are in a situation to chase what is lost against Lazio. The team from Rome is in excellent form, winning the last four games in Serie A and the Europa League. Traditionally, Lazio has been a tough opponent for Juventus, and head coach Marco Baroni believes his team is ready for this challenge. Patric is the only injured player for the “Eagles,” while Juve is facing a more difficult situation. Francisco Conceicao is facing a suspension, and Nicolas Gonzalez is injured, so the offensive line will be pretty limited. Motta also will not be able to count on Timothy Weah, Weston McKennie, and Teun Koopmeiners in the midfield and Bremer in the defensive line. Finding the right 11 will be a difficult task for Motta, but Juve has numerous guys ready to step up. Dusan Vlahovic has turned into a beast mode this season, while Khephren Thuram and Kenan Yildiz are among the best young players in the world. This will be a tough game for the home team, but Juventus will prove they are serious contenders in the title race and will beat Lazio.
