League of Legends Best Soraka Build Season 14

Share

Soraka is the most infamous healer of the bot lane. She is distinguished by her unique W mega heal and an ultimate that can deliver global healing to all allies at once. To make the most out of Soraka, today we are gonna take a look at a build used by the most successful Challenger Soraka players.

Best Soraka Items

Moonstone Renewer

Moonstone Renewer is the absolute best Soraka item. It has a passive that will increase all the healing done by a champion, and since Soraka is the champion with the most healing power, it’s pretty clear that this is the absolute best item pick for her.

Redemption

Pretty much the whole Soraka gameplay revolves around healing, and since we want to play into her strengths, it’s only logical to build the Redemption. Its passive has a long AOE healing, and it is perfect for team fights, lane fights, and smaller skirmishes around the map.

Dawncore

Dawncore is one of the greatest items for Soraka at the moment because it will give us a +16% shield and heal power straight up. It will also give us +2% heal per 100% base mana regen. Honestly, I did not do the math on that one, but it feels powerful when played so we will stick with it.

Mikale’s Blessing

Mikael’s Blessing will remove all the CC from you or your ally, and it will also grant you some HP when cast. It’s a great late game that will have utility in almost any draft. It’s best to save it for important fights, as having your strongest allies CCed is almost inevitable.

Shurelya’s Battlesong & Ardent Censer

Shurelya’s Battlesong is another strong utility item. Its active will give all your close teammates a significant speed boost. You will find the boost extremely useful in team fights when you are catching enemies, or just running away from danger.

We can also use our last legendary item slot for Ardent Censer. The item will greatly enhance your ally’s attack speed, and we will want to build it with champions that prosper with high attack speed, such as Jinx.

Boots

The best boots option for Soraka are the Ionian boots of Lucidity. They will give us the much-needed ability haste and allow us to cast our spells much more frequently. Regarding other boots, they too can be bought at times, but these will be good in 99% of your games.

Runes

Soraka-Runes title

  1. Summon Aery
  2. Manaflow Band
  3. Transcendence
  4. Scorch
  5. Bone Plating
  6. Revitalize

Summon Aery is the greatest keystone for Soraka which is essential for poking in lane. Manaflow Band will help us recover mana, and sustain the early game. Transcendence is good for a little bit of scaling stats, while Scorch is just a poking rune.

For our last two runes, we will take the Bone Plating and Revitalize. Bone Plating is great for preventing getting bursted, while Revitalize is a must for Soraka, as it will increase all our healing power.

Final Thoughts

Soraka is one of the greatest support picks, and she has always had a relatively strong place in the meta. The best Soraka builds will always primarily focus on increasing the shield power, and then on getting some utility for the team. From this understanding, it follows that the best build for Soraka is the aforementioned one: Moonstone Renewer, Redemption, Mikael’s Blessing, Shurelay’s, and Ionian boots of Lucidity.
